The University of Oklahoma Health Campus (OUHC) Office of the Fire Marshal operates within the Department of Building Code Compliance & Fire Protection Services. Our mission is to protect lives and property from fire, explosions, and related hazards through plan review, code enforcement, fire prevention, and public education.
We believe prevention is the most effective form of fire protection. Through the consistent application of adopted fire and life safety codes, along with education and outreach, we work to promote a safe environment for the OU Health Campus community and reduce the risk and impact of fire and other hazards.
